WKC will be holding its Pointing Dog Hunt tests on May 6th and 7th at the Hughes Ranch outside of Almira, Washington. This will be the fifth year the Club has hosted this event. This year we will again hold a “double-double,” which means there will be two tests each day for two days.
Dogs may compete at three levels: Junior Hunter, Senior Hunter, and Master Hunter. To enter, a dog must be at least 6 months old and a pointing breed.
Volunteers are needed for the following activities:
- Chairman of Hospitality (1)
- Hospitality Helpers (3 or more)
- Bird Planters
- Runners
- Gunners (must prequalify per AKC regulations)
- Field Marshals
- Recorders
- Judges
